Bay Area accounting firms
Keystead exists because most Bay Area accounting firms never build a real system for finding good clients.
Referrals are valuable, but they are not reliable. We built a focused, local approach that gives firms visibility into nearby opportunities first, then handles the outreach and booking only when it makes sense.
Local opportunity list
Sample format for an accounting firm
Illustrative rows only. The real list is delivered through the opt-in route as a clean, gated firm view.
Our point of view
The growth problem is structural, not personal.
Most firm owners are good at the work. They are simply not set up to consistently find the next right client while protecting their time and their standards. When referrals slow down, the default is the owner doing sales on top of everything else, which is the exact cycle that creates unpredictable revenue and quiet months.
We do not think that is inevitable. We think the client-finding job should be staffed properly, with a process that respects the firm's capacity and selectivity.
Our approach
We start with the list. Everything else follows from there.
This is not about generating more leads. It is about giving you visibility into the actual local opportunities that fit your firm before anything else happens. If the list shows real potential and the fit is right, the paid work follows, and only then.
Free local list
A clean view of nearby business opportunities matched to your firm and city. You keep it either way.
Get Found
Prepaid setup for the local presence and booking path that supports outreach.
Local Client Engine
Monthly finding, outreach, follow-up, and booked consult handoff. Month to month; pause or stop anytime.
1. Opportunity list
We build a local list around your city, firm profile, and target client type. No call required.
2. Local foundation
If there is fit, we set up the local presence and booking path so outreach has somewhere credible to land.
3. Monthly engine
We reach selected businesses in your firm's name, follow up, and hand you the booked consults.
If the conversations do not show up in your first 60 days, we keep working at no monthly cost until they do. We agree the target with you before we start.
4. Simple readout
You see list size, outreach activity, replies, and booked conversations. No portal, no log-ins.
Proof
One firm's outcome. The pattern that actually matters.
One accounting firm we worked with grew revenue from $443K to $900K in about 73 days, while the owner cut their hours roughly in half. One firm's result, not a promise about yours. The exact numbers vary. What repeats is this: when the job of finding and booking good-fit local clients is owned and run every month, the calendar and the cash flow get steadier.
The repeatable part is not the exact result. It is having a person and process responsible for finding, reaching, and booking the right prospective clients.
Who we work with
We are selective about who we work with. You should be too.
A fit if you are
- An accounting, bookkeeping, or tax firm in the SF Bay Area
- Roughly 5-19 staff, with the owner still close to sales and delivery
- Growing on referrals and tired of quiet months
- Clear on the kind of client you want more of
Not a fit if you
- Are outside the Bay Area (for now)
- Want a national ad agency or a pile of cold leads
- Cannot take on any new clients at all
- Want promises we cannot control - we show the pattern, not certainty
Common questions
What firms ask us first.
What does it cost?
The free local list costs $0. Get Found is $2,000 prepaid. The Local Client Engine is $497/mo after that. There is no payment on the site.
Do I have to book a call to get the list?
No. Request the list, review it, and decide later. If the list is useful, reply or book a fit call and we will map the outreach path.
Do you email raw contact spreadsheets?
No. The free list is delivered as a clean, gated business-level view. We do not email raw third-party PII spreadsheets to prospects.
What do you need from me?
Your city, firm email, and the type of client you want more of. For the paid engine, we also confirm fit, capacity, and service area before outreach starts.
Is this automated spam?
No. It is selective local outreach with a human operator, suppression handling, and a simple monthly readout you can understand.
